Bridge history dates back to quite a long period. There are several variations of bridge with each having its own origins and related bridge history in volumes. However, some documented scripts suggest that the bridge history forefathers played it in the early 16th century in England. In England, Bridge was said to have been played in the name of Whist. It is supposed that they used to play this game in the cruise travel popularly. The commonest form of bridge is the four player game with partnership. This kind of partnership game is also known a contract bridge. The declarer in this bridge will give a bid to name the expected number of tricks they are likely with win. The trick should have 4 cards each from one player in the table. The winning trick should have a high rank trump. Bridge also helps one to graduate to be a better poker player. The inventor of bridge is Harold Vanderbilt has written about how he got about inventing the game and what were the preceding games that formed the ground for the discovery. The genealogy of bridge is written to have rooted from Whist per his writings. The modern poker is also said to have mutated from bridge, but it is really apprehensive about if that is really true because the modern day poker has several other inventor claims too! However, poker is an advanced form of bridge and it requires more perfection and mind tactics than for a bridge. Bridge history suggests that the game was played with two decks. When one deck is being used for play, the other deck is kept with the next dealer unused. So that when one round of game is over, the next dealer can use the next deck of cards for speed proceedings of the game.
