A big poker game is more exciting than a small poker game.  In a big poker game, there is going to be more players that are interacting and playing.  The more players in the table the more exciting will the poker game will be to play on.  A table that has enough number of tables is most preferred because the initial rounds will amass enough money in the pot from getting just a bit of contribution in the form of antes or pre-flop bets from the players.  Any poker game that does not have enough players at the table is known as a short handed table.
